Wonderful place for families and children. Extremely reasonable rates for RV and cabin sites. Fishing boats available to rent and fishing can be quite good. Owners are very hospitable, generous and nice. Our family has been visiting the Martens every year since the mid 90’s.

Martens Resort provided a grounded and leisurely experience. Not too far away from Lac la Hache, it is a perfect getaway for family. The campgrounds provide a great playground for kids and activities for everyone to enjoy, like volleyball, horseshoe, and cornhole. It was easy to navigate the grounds, and it was very well maintained. The caretakers/owners are the friendliest and most accommodating I've met and went above and beyond to ensure our experience was comfortable and memorable. I'm looking forward to the next trip there. Don't forget to bring your rods and get into some good fishing.

Totally enjoyed our recent week at Martens Resort. Jeff and Lara were more than accommodating and helpful anytime that we had a question. The dock was excellent and the fishing was good. Liked it enough to book another week in September.

We had a great stay this past weekend. Great atmosphere, was quiet and peaceful while still being able to have lots of fun with camp fires, renting fishing boats and lawn games.

Clean as a whistle and great hosts. Facility was well equipped for the wedding we attended as well as for camping. Will definitely return.

When we arrived the lady in the office was incredibly welcoming and helpful and made us feel welcome to ask any questions.
The cabin was incredibly clean and well kept, and felt very homey. They left us some candy as a welcoming gift which was a lovely touch!
Everyone who worked there had wonderful customer service! The lovely man on the mower even gave us kayaking location suggestions when he saw our kayaks.
The location itself is very well kept, and they have plenty of extras like a personal fire pit and bbq at our cabin, and rentals like paddle boards and kayaks so everyone can enjoy the lake to its fullest.
We will definitely be coming again!

The resort is well maintained, the owners are very friendly and helpful! The washrooms/showers and laundry areas are clean tidy. We've been so impressed by Martens and absolutely recommend this resort. We are in a 5th wheel so haven't been in the cabins but they look really great and we've witnessed them continually being upkept. Our RV site is very comfortable and we're enjoying our time here! Definitely recommend you try this resort out!

We had an excellent stay on the beautiful Timothy Lake. Our cabin was clean and well equipped with beautiful walking trail around the property, topped off with lots of fun spent on the boat rental. We will definitely be back!!
