Cabin 1is thought to be the first homestead on the property, rumoured to be milled from lumber on the land in the early 1940's.  Located at the edge of the resort, cabin 1 enjoys a private location with great lake views, making it both a favourite for families and those searching for a romantic getaway.While the rustic charm of the period has been maintained, the interior has been modernized to include such luxuries as a hot shower, full kitchen and comfortable beds.  Cabin 1 sleeps 6, with two queen beds and a sofa bed (added in 2023).  We supply a mattress protector and top sheet on the beds and campers are to bring the rest of their bedding**, as well as bath towels.

The kitchen is well appointed and includes an oven, fridge, microwave, coffee maker (including filters), toaster, pots & pans, dishes and utensils. When you'd rather prepare meals outside, you can enjoy the barbecue (includes propane) on the large south facing deck, or the simple pleasures of roasting hotdogs and marshmallows at your private fire pit.  

 

The bathroom includes a toilet, sink and shower.  With a new 40 gallon hot water tank feel free to enjoy LONG hot showers!

We accept nightly cabin bookings* in May, June and after the first week of September; so even those needing a hotel or short term vacation rental close to Lac La Hache, 100 Mile House or Williams Lake may find us to be a more unique option.  In July, August and early September (high season) most cabin bookings are for 1 week or longer, however, sometimes shorter stays during this period may become available.  If you are looking for shorter than a 7 night booking in our high season, we recommend that you call to book your vacation, otherwise you can book your vacation online or you can book by phone.

*Plus tax, additional charges for extra people and pets.  Base rate is for 2 adults and up to 3 kids (under 19).  $10 per extra person and pet (max 2 pets).  Bookings shorter than 3 nights will have a $50 cleaning fee automatically charged to reservation.  No cleaning fee is charged on reservations of 3+ nights booked directly through Martens Resort.

**We can provide bedding for an additional charge ($15 per bed).  Please let the resort know prior to arrival if you require bedding.
